Jennifer Maxson
President
Jennifer Maxson is the President of Jennifer Maxson & Associates and a leadership development expert with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations develop stronger leaders.
Through executive coaching, leadership programs, and keynote speaking, Jennifer works with executives, managers, and emerging leaders to strengthen communication, leadership presence, and team effectiveness. Her work focuses on helping professionals build credibility, communicate with clarity, and lead with confidence in the moments that matter most.
Jennifer is a Certified Professional Coach and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation and is certified in Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors™. She partners with organizations across the United States to deliver customized leadership development experiences that combine practical frameworks, coaching insight, and real-world application.
Jennifer is passionate about developing leaders who communicate clearly, guide teams effectively, and create stronger organizations.
Outside of her professional work, Jennifer is actively involved in leadership development initiatives throughout the West Michigan community.

Sarah Flick
Leadership Coach
Sarah Flick works with leaders and teams to strengthen communication, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness. With over 30 years of experience supporting global clients, Sarah helps professionals build self-awareness, communicate clearly, and develop leadership habits that support both people and business outcomes.
At Jennifer Maxson & Associates, Sarah coaches in programs including Speak Up & Be Effective™, Be Bright. Be Brief. Be Gone.™, The Power of Storytelling, and Presentation Coaching.
Before joining the firm, Sarah worked in sales and training in the telecommunications industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Taylor University, where she was recognized as a “Lesson in Leadership” honoree.
Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys celebrating life’s victories with her clients, family, and community.
Michael Bivens
Executive Coach
Michael Bivens partners with leaders to strengthen decision-making, leadership mindset, and professional growth. As an Executive Coach with Jennifer Maxson & Associates since 2011, Mike supports leaders through coaching engagements and leadership programs including The Exceptional Leader™.
Prior to joining the firm, Mike spent more than 30 years with the Kellogg Company, serving as Vice President of Retail Sales and leading leadership development efforts across international markets.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Albion College and an MBA from Babson College.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys mentoring leaders and continuing his lifelong pursuit of building strong teams.

Her coaching and facilitation focus on helping leaders organize ideas clearly, communicate with greater presence, and navigate important workplace conversations. Jana is passionate about partnering with leaders to think strategically, explore new possibilities, and move themselves and their teams toward meaningful goals.
Jana holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Geneva College and is trained through the Co-Active Training Institute for Coaching, one of the world’s leading coaching programs.
She enjoys helping professionals build confidence, communicate with purpose, and grow into the leaders they aspire to be.

Dan is an executive coach with 35+ years of experience with global technology and professional services organizations (e.g., IBM, Accenture, Deloitte). He coaches differentiated leaders helping them be authentic, act with courage, lead beyond boundaries and create value. Dan focuses on leaders and emerging leaders, because he believes everything rises and falls on leadership and knows that healthy leaders create healthy teams and healthy teams make up healthy organizations where people can thrive.
